.@HealthyGamerGG is such an aberration to me— talking about mental health publicly, an influencer even, but in a way that feels grounded, connected to the real thing, and unlike all the instagram influencers trying to make it idk why https://t.co/2nrOuCdkFf

@AskYatharth @HealthyGamerGG this particular statement feels a bit heavy handed to me but the thing i admire about him is he really sits and talks with streamers etc for hours and is really present for them i think thats usually the differentiating factor

@AskYatharth @HealthyGamerGG i do feel a kinship with him, and to project a little l’d say the thing we do different is we actually talk with people and we actually listen. which shouldnt be rare but apparently it is https://t.co/joSU0axGXh

Someone once asked me ā€œwhat do kids DM/email you aboutā€ and I surprised myself at how quickly and easily I was able to articulate their FAQs. Rereading this I realize it’s *knowledge*: about the struggles of others. This is what I mean when I say being sensitive makes you smarter https://t.co/no5Gc5yEHA

not perfect, but it feels like when he talks he has a sense of the grief in play. it's no joke. a sense of levity but grief at the same time

i realise im projecting, but it feels like he's made it to some final stage of life where you realise the world is real, stakes are real. and there are more stages, but no "final stage" to wait for before life becomes real https://t.co/Q4mmd1xVgQ

I remember musing as a child, about the Switch. It was a critique of society as I saw it, where I saw people say they just needed grades, then just a degree, then just needed a job, as if at some point, a switch would flip, and their real life would start.

personally, life didn't really feel real me, stakes didn't, i didn't feel real, i don't think other people felt real, or caring about them it was all sort of symbolic https://t.co/F66JVcX1dj

i wasn’t the ā€œpeopleā€ doing things. i didn’t totally know who was there was an ā€œotherā€ kind of person who did those things. somehow it felt like all i did was tinged with personal self-survival. accumulate money, friendships, etc. i couldn’t even properly care about people https://t.co/pFzTdg3fIo

@benefic_venefic @visakanv "bedside manner for engineers" is a very helpful term as someone who's often interacting with less experienced engineers, thank you the analogy to arrogant busy doctors with their esoteric information is there

like gabor matĆ© — a doctor who seems to know what they're talking about, clearly intelligent; but also grounded, relatable, present, simple, like you https://t.co/Flz7zh1JXW

Dr. K (healthygamergg) is doing this thing, really listening, really actually talking to people about the thing called their brain/life/mental health/soul from where they're at https://t.co/BUN74dwcBg

this is a 1996 guide on how to help someone use a computer. it’s strikingly resonant with ā€˜how to be a parent’, or really ā€˜how to help anyone with anything’. a nice example of ā€œthe universal within the particularā€ https://t.co/pjGISo3RGt https://t.co/3n474p0a8j
