it's funny- they use this word and LARPed traditional cultures while having a relationship to embodiment that in reality i haven't seen or heard in any traditional culture re: embodiment, The Emerald episode linked above does a good job talking about it

neo-tantra is not tantra, in the same way american kirtan isn't kirtan they're entirely distinct, and i'd call on everyone to not let new age practitioners muddy the waters neo-tantra and american kirtan are their own, distinct, and nascent traditions

a bunch of nerds got together, wanted to make things better, and they attracted other nerds, vulnerable and coping, but nevertheless, committed, to actually doing it they are the the nerds who went ahead & did it. gave away 90% of their salaries, looked into making things better

@relic_radiation this is one of those things lost in the writing. one thinks, you can pick up a book about levels of developmental and gain something useful, but we miss the energetic reality of relating to the framework. the thing that's not written down
