Very handy site, especially for folks with ADHD etc! Put in a task, click the magic wand, and it'll break the task down into a pretty decent list of subtasks. Lots of good customization options, can edit / add / delete / rearrange at will https://t.co/dDymbmHHC2

3. @uberstuber threadapalooza 100 tweets on ADHD (Contains Actionable Advice) https://t.co/UloXHGpbDI

Last year I was diagnosed with ADHD. I haven't written about it much because the diagnosis was a shock. Now I have a more solid understanding of ADHD, how it presents for me, and ways to mitigate some of the downsides. So, for threadapalooza 2023, here's 100 tweets on ADHD

4. @_brentbaum ADHD stack (Contains Actionable Advice) https://t.co/8q1oRVwrNH

if i were starting from scratch w/ my adhd i would: 1. get on a low dose of meds (to give myself a fighting chance) 2. take 2g omega 3, 500mg magnesium, 5000iu vit d daily 3. have a coaching call with @jessicamalonso (she's so good at this!) 4. read gabor mate's scattered minds then when i felt more resourced 1. keep a log of what i was trying to do when i got distracted for a few days (find the emotional triggers) 2. 10m of zone 2 cardio a day 3. reduce stimulation (youtube and twitter fast for 2 weeks) i think the rest of the work would emerge naturally from here

interesting consequence of this is that adhd might just mean you have a body with more fragments of the computation in it, distributed across society. you are responsible for their integration. suggests the answer would involve an idiosyncratic path

People like my mother who pray several times a day do not get ADHD because prayer serves to reinforce intention. This is purely anecdotal evidence, of course, but something about repeatedly training attention to cultivate specific conative states is giving prayers an edge. https://t.co/7jOWx71txb
