depends on the surgeon! given a choice between two surgeons, I would strongly prefer one who doesn't give me a feeling of "wait that doesn't seem right" when they talk! especially true of diagnosing doctors—it's a sign they're missing something https://t.co/eDK8l15UDQ
but also, suppose your choice is between surgery and not... you could choose to get the surgery even tho you think the surgeon is full of shit in some ways you don't have to believe the surgeon's words in order to choose to let them do surgery on you! it's a separate act.
