so many adults never get beyond kid-level of Theory of Mind (other people know different things than me) ...to more advanced stages like: - other people think different things than me - no actually other people ACTUALLY think those things

the skill of predicting people better than they can predict themselves is impressive but usually a distraction from learning how to love them and/or have satisfying interactions with them
