i have other things, that don't suck me in as easily, that could keep me absorbed for hours. i'd like to do more drawing, reading, being, exploring it's tough to balance, because the time on twitter really is engaging, fun, and productive. it's actually those things
but i don't want to fucking miss things. i hate the fucking fact twitter doesn't have a neat unread inbox, where i can leave items for the future. i hate that the notifications inbox feels like this fragile thing to process all at once or i lose my place and it's gone
@AskYatharth @QiaochuYuan a weird thing for me to reflect on is that i did my largest volume of writing in ~2015, when i had a full time job. i would feverishly, passionately write on my commutes like my life depended on it. i actually write less now
@visakanv @QiaochuYuan hmmm, this is making me reflect… i don't mind missing great tweets on the TL. it's great when i find them, but it's fine to miss missing replies feels like… death … i didn't expect that to get so intense
