"tantra" is an anti-shibboleth historically, and with continuity to a lineage that we would categorise as tantra, practitioners wouldn't really call themselves tantric practitioners if anyone calls themselves a tantric practitioner, they're not theyre a neo-tantra practitioner https://t.co/v6QW23HDPF
neo-tantra is not tantra, in the same way american kirtan isn't kirtan they're entirely distinct, and i'd call on everyone to not let new age practitioners muddy the waters neo-tantra and american kirtan are their own, distinct, and nascent traditions

one of the briefest recommendations i can give for spirituality to be always involved with at least two different communities, so you will always have a perspective from outside the other one. anything else is too consistently dangerous, every time
