I was told recently that I should stop posting on a topic until I've understood it more deeply and mastered the material. That seems to me to be backwards. It is exactly the material with which you are thinking the hardest and evolving your thoughts on which you should write.

@eshear phew, i'm writing about something right now i have a perspective on but definitely don't fully understand (it's a highly complex, multi-faceted problem) and this feels like it empowers me, gives me permission to keep writing it. thank you 🙏

@eshear @Lola_lmao7 hell yeah https://t.co/ZsebU94246

to attract peers and mentors you need to be writing stuff that is at your personal edge, half-baked stuff you barely understand, conspiracy theories, howls in the night. writing "down" is for stuff you've finished digesting and are done with. valuable but too much is limiting

I strive to be in explorer mode tho I admit on startups and tech stuff I tend to fall into guru mode bc it’s more regurgitating stuff I learned over past 15 years than stuff I’m thinking now https://t.co/FmPHzIIUzC
