i love this, because one of the main things that changed about sleeping for me is i came to love the process of sleeping https://t.co/d0GhBZss73

@ElodesNL everything! i hated sleeping. i wished for a world without it i also couldn't sleep easily, or on command, and napping was hard, and i felt sad going to sleep now i love sleeping, naps, being as as a kitten, and being me more

how rude it was before, tired, dissatisfied, unprocessed from the day, to say, hey now kid, sleep asap! no play, no rest time, go. to. fucking. bed. (we gotta wake up and do more tomorrow) this is not how you put a kid to sleep, if you have the capacity to not do so

go to bed in alarm, wake up in alarm https://t.co/FMQYW4KLbK

kids love to be played with. asked how their day was. they like ritual. they like getting sleepy slowly i like "resting" without needing to be sleepy. i love "exploring dreams" for a bit without going to sleep

i love the feeling of going into my covers, knowing a loving presence is there (me) i love the comfort any ungrieved feelings of sadness will be tended to now i love i get to talk to my room a bit i love going to sleep now

i love falling asleep. it's too important an activity to be tired for rest first, find food, drink, clothing. relax then you may-- take the sacred journey, like the sun takes every evening, to fall asleep https://t.co/x0cIvvh4SJ
