one of the ways a community gets along with each other is people not interacting with each other more than they have to if they dislike each other

you don’t have to neurotically resolve everything, this is the one life you have, it’s not actually important for everybody to be in contact with each other to be moving closer to each other all the time you can just say, this is where we stop

if a group has this we have to be constantly growing closer to each other, you can’t actually handle conflict well anymore, and the group has to stay pretty small
