i thought my singing lessons would make me sing more beautifully (and they have been), but what i didn't expect is that 90% of their effect would just be being a lot more comfortable singing "badly" and considering that real singing too

@AskYatharth Josh told me that there’s not much correlation between “”””good singing”””” and strength of the invocation he met some people in India that sung, basically like they talked and yet the force of animate spirit undeniably flowed through them anyhow. strongly !

@relic_radiation mm, "real singing" is different from the kind of singing that would be platformed on broadway it includes it and more. but how impoverished to have thought that was the entirety of "real singing" most of my life https://t.co/YwNiW1nFEV

singing is more than broadway and the opera hall, always has been. it's been part of people's lives. heck, that's been more important, for most of history https://t.co/qOIWkQLEq8
