people here (asheville) seem to have such a different relationship to money it’s like they want money to then use for stuff it’s so different from.. the mandate of capitalism where it’s just.. get more money for more. maximise

i don’t think i knew why i wanted money. i had all this earning potential, and not a inkling of the soul that might want to spend it i had more than i could spend. my financial budget was greater than my spirit budget

one of my first words to @relic_radiation when i was walking around was “it feels like this city exists outside the mandate of capitalism” like the reception is just bad here. the signal just doesn’t come through as much
