@kokogiac @Malcolm_Ocean the 0th person is the “pre-personal” I. Merleau-Ponty calls this “The Body” or “The One” and says we all have one and in a sense they are all the same “One” because all of it is pre-personal

@Malcolm_Ocean zeroth/fourth person pronoun does exist! I use it all the time: one. Although, I've begun to see the downsides of using this pronoun for going viral.

so hard to figure out what pronouns to use while tweeting • you can use the general/audience "you" • but I sometimes feel I want to own that I'm speaking about my own experience & patterns • some people do their tweets in third person • one can say "one" but who does that?

@Malcolm_Ocean Partitive pronouns might catch on? Instead of "I" there's the option of saying "part-of-me" but it's a mouthful and loses case distinctions
