Commit was inspired by a TailwindUI template that imagines a fictional macOS app to quickly commit your changes. The idea of automatically finding which repository you'd been working on seemed interesting, so I built a quick prototype with Rust 🦀 https://t.co/636HqphAuP

Once I got it working, I decided to take it a step further, and turn it into a full-fledged app using @TauriApps. Tauri lets you build apps with Rust and web tech, which meant I could use Tailwind (making recreating the app designs on the template really easy!).

After a few tweaks and a settings page, it was ready to go! ✨ You can check out the code and download the app on GitHub, and I'll be adding Linux and Windows binaries in the coming weeks (or you can submit a PR!) https://t.co/vQ3J38KDaf
