When my mom talks about me speaking with “attitude” towards her, on reflection, I think she’s actually accurately picking up vibes wise that I’m coming at her with blaming energy. And she’s been naming her boundary for decades that she’s not available for that

That’s actually pretty fucking reasonable, even if it’s really hard and energy intensive for me to do in relation to her (only talk to her from a grounded, unblended, self connected place)

The annoying part is that she would never come close to acknowledging, let a lone honoring such a boundary with her. Although actually it’s on me to honor my own boundaries
