wife pointed out that my book sales were down when I didn’t tweet the last few days because I was sick lol https://t.co/0Zms9KtuNv

whenever I’m sick I watch a lot of YouTube, like a lot of video game stuff occasionally mixed up with like celeb gossip stuff. Did you know for example Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone always end up auditioning for the same roles and it’s a thing that they kinda commiserate about

@panchromaticity I mean, this is the source, so your guess is as good as mine. You’d need to run it by someone with like expertise in actor contracts etc to have better perspective on it but I’d guess that yeah that was probably all he made directly

@visakanv actually your guess is still better than mine because I'm too lazy to watch the video do right now https://t.co/gUXQzju2J3

was also watching a DC documentary- Bob Kane described Batman as a remix of Da Vinci’s contraptions, a movie called The Bat, and the Mark of Zorro. He didn’t come up with the backstory etc, that was largely Bill Fingers’ contributions, uncredited for a long time until after death https://t.co/Apeqz0tB5s

@visakanv Reminds me of this Bruce Sterling bit about how Da Vinci's devices still get made even tho they don't work because they just seem so plausible. Non-functionality can't kill them in the collective imagination.https://t.co/4EJuQ5loOu

@visakanv Related: "streamlining" succeeding as a design movement because technical illustrators immediately got the concept."Sure, I'll draw you a streamlined toaster, a streamlined power drill, a streamlined stapler, no problem!"Despite toasters having no aeronautical functions.
