i never spoke out about how one of the olympics board of medical advisors people sexually assaulted me, but I wish I did within the statute of limitations. we're literally at a dinner / salon in the home of a friend, introducing ourselves. he mentioned his work with the olympics, and then (he was sitting next to me, had been talking to me)... said "what is a woman", and put whipped cream on my face and licked it off. wtf my friends were there. i wasn't feeling threatened, just, violated. | i said "i choose the universe where this is forgivable" but, i wish i had just punched him in the face. or fucking pressed charges. the US gymnastics sex abuse case happened later, and it may well have been the same kind of corrupt people covering it up.

@DanielleFong i hate those social situations where someone does something outrageous and antisocial while everyone else is stunned and left taking cues from everyone else, no one wants to make a scene bc "maybe they're missing context"

@goblinodds yea i think tried by a jury of my peers i'd have gotten away with it, but, it's also the case that powerful dudes like that would mobilize everything against ppl to maintain station, so you have to be willing to go to the mat
