@Tarunashree1 @ultimape any tips for Taruna about grip strength? She had surgery and some medicine after. She struggles a bit now.

@AlexJournal2019 @Tarunashree1 Many of the plant based things that improve grip strength seem to be acting via the gut microbiota. If the surgery involved antibiotics, it may have impacted them. I figured this out via Puerarinhttps://t.co/NRYYy7kkQs

@oldfshndanne Connections between these may also explain why FMT has been helping some people recover from long covid and promising options like what is being explored by @remissionbiomehttps://t.co/M3tqOiKcEu

@AlexJournal2019 @Tarunashree1 My whole family has weird autoimmune problems and hypothyroid. I traced it to bad gut health. https://t.co/hrlwqPGdAP

@AlexJournal2019 @l_CAN_CLlCK Parathydroid Hormone is neat. Its one of the ones that is modulated heavily by gut bacteria. I think gut bacteria's impact on PTH and other thyroid chemicals is overlooked.https://t.co/thSfVolXOa

@AlexJournal2019 @Tarunashree1 This space is still new though, so I can't point to direct interventions. I can say that from what i can tell, all the herbal books we have seem to frame thyroid issues as liver issues. Looking up plants for thyroid help ends up being in the liver section of the herbal stuff.

@AlexJournal2019 @Tarunashree1 Strength seems to be a mix of raw ingredients for muscles to move, but also nervous system function. The brain needs to be able to send signals for the muscles to contract.

@AlexJournal2019 @Tarunashree1 I believe in Ayurveda, you'd find it called 'Manda agni'. or something in this space:https://t.co/8QSefzpLaqI am also exploring blood health stuff in TCM given how the liver is involved in cleaning it. Not sure if there is an equivalent of that in Ayurveda.
