With each passing day, I appreciate the wisdom contained in the theological frame more. It took me a long time to access that wisdom, to interpret the language it’s contained within, and translate that language into clear and scientifically informed understanding. Demons, the soul, love, a higher power, moral commandments — they all speak to aspects of the human experience and enterprise not easily or comprehensively addressed in the disciplines we’d otherwise draw on for guidance. How has your relationship with the divine and its many purported representatives evolved?
