@AskYatharth The real thing is expensive so fakes have always been most of the market,, And until the past few decades we were mostly pretty bad at making the artificial stuff, so it was kinda bland

@AskYatharth (Also most vanilla is used for cooking, and cooking burns off the complexities of real vanilla anyway… so using the fake stuff there doesn’t miss much. Even the cheap fake stuff That said, if you use fakevs real in like a drink or sth… difference is palpable)
