its too late to "prevent" AI at this point. either it will lead to an authoritarian hell, or it will paperclip us; or perhaps it will lead to an earthly paradise. the reasons for this are basically systematic

ok well it seems that my dangerous rhetoric might have cause some murders yes. but they were worthwhile. meanwhile it prevented other murders that we can only assume would have been bad case closed

GPU production is centralized and capital intensive and will remain so basically for the rest of this century. The factories are easy to nationalize, and easy to bomb. If it is just scaling this is easier to solve than nuclear proliferation.
