A developmental project is something that pushes us out of our comfort zone and presses us up against our embodied assumptions of the world. Where our inner world meets our expression in the outer world and they grow in relationship to one another.
itās ok to be creative just for the pleasure of it. delightful, joyous, a lovely gift to yourself and those around you that said, if you want to be Serious and go pro, my core recommendation is to define a compelling creative expedition for yourself
@the_wilderless @sariazout Yes! Committing to writing a book made me a more artistic person even before I actually wrote anything. I found myself taking notes of cool quotes to adapt from things I watched, or analysing how scenes were constructed. Making art gives you a new lense to view the world through

@the_wilderless @sariazout Your brain is an engine that can consume calories in order to shape the future, if you do not have an intention to shape the future into there's no target for your optimization power, and it will be consumed by whatever incentives you are subject to.
@the_wilderless @sariazout I felt a big change once I allowed myself to go into some projects that felt completely unrealistic and impossibly hard. And a hard but aligned projects keeps offering the best f*ing growth opportunities that I canāt conjure on my own otherwise
