if you love someone a lot and don’t know what to do with it, send that love back to yourself so you can be more grounded and happy and available the next time you see them

i don’t always like it. sometimes i’d rather just love other people. but it’s inspiring to see people i love want to be closer to their own self and love themselves, and it makes me want to be that way too

if i close my eyes, and remember with my self, that’s what i remember more clearly with my heart than anything how they acted

if i ever have kids, i want to remember this. that the thing that most mattered is how the people i loved moved themselves through the world

when you’re sad you can just remember how people who loved you acted
