it’s hard to describe the satisfying feeling of being able to walk into a kitchen, and make cumin burgers or turmeric caramelised onions, or just… 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 to feed myself

learning to cook and cooking is 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 trading money for food. they are entirely different experience. when i am focused on experience, this is obvious to the part of me that was focused on maximising and quantification, this was not
