It takes about 14 years for the typical child to be able to cross the road. It coincides with timing issues, a subset of motor skills. https://t.co/FUZoGrwUHK

Timing issues are rife for autistic etiology. https://t.co/mVUHRfIsgv

Motor skill are impaired in autistic people. https://t.co/UAWH1Gqoxv

IQ tests that focus on information processing seem to be also measuring underlying timing abillity, but strangely is unrelated to fine motor skills. https://t.co/dCknxXEyhE

Virtual reality training might be able to help with street crossing skills, and can translate into the real world. https://t.co/LVmIAMzrVm

Oddly we're finding that gut microbiota may play a role in motor skills, showing up as an aspect of Parkinson's https://t.co/INQzOMCRgI

We're also finding similar results among infants with regards to gut microbiome and cognitive development. https://t.co/NKAd43K7XN

Of course the science is still progressing in this area. We're still mostly looking at mouse models of this stuff. But results seem promising: https://t.co/grGdAFIyXT

Notably, the SCFA and PUFA stuff seems to have already been correlated with maternal health and it's impact on brain development. TL;DR: big butts help with brain growth? https://t.co/it2ZmzBQLx

That all has a role with breast milk composition. I find all sorts of strange stuff like this in the literature: https://t.co/NPasQ4a4mK

Which I think is all tied together thru SCFAs https://t.co/tH2UQ72KoH

You'll also note how that 2012 study talks about SCFAs, but also PPA. We've found that PPA seems to be gut microbe related as well. This video goes into the study a bit in the context of antibiotics https://t.co/4S919oVBEY

Apparently gut bacteria even migrate to breasts during the late stages of pregnancy to prepare for transmission to the child. https://t.co/JeVcw8C7LR

If the gut bacteria live in the mammary glands temporarily to spread to the child, does that mean that this is an alternative form of human trophallaxis via mammalian milk production?https://t.co/vef9L1sVBg

They found that certain types of baby formula are a risk factor for autism... https://t.co/Jvm3ABbTFvand that missing ingredient plays a roll in immune signaling associated precisely with the gene associated with seizures https://t.co/QdIsGgteSDwhoa.https://t.co/717WqIFXsQ

Ancient wisdom, lolhttps://t.co/Jk1jeZgaqU

Ancient Memes"milk was considered a miracle fluid which could cure people and give wisdom. The mythical figure Philosophia-Sapientia, the personification of wisdom, suckled philosophers at her breast and by this way they absorbed wisdom and moral virtue."https://t.co/tVdJxhrdie

You wouldn't believe the number of reports of moms saying that certain kinds of milk cured their child's autism. https://t.co/Hwr4dwb2Lr

But sure, go ahead and pasteurize everything to kill those bad bacteria. https://t.co/98f3ec323v

It's gots whats guts craves.https://t.co/LnEP32euaC

"This article reviews the principles governing tranfer of maternal antibiotics to breast milk, its clinical significance, and ways to minimise inadvertent infant exposure."https://t.co/ymUjUbHS2b

For the record, I wasn't drinking Badger Milk. But I did go thru 3 different stores and found every product that was probiotic to try and find L. Reuteri.https://t.co/9m4O7GkWx0

Down the road I hope to try and find the strain of L. Reuteri that are in @seedhealth - they seem to be ones derived from breast milk(?). There are some studies that suggest it helps fight Candida.I have no idea where to source, it sounds promising. https://t.co/nwYLmFnGIb

There's some weird stuff at the intersection of vaginal yeast infections https://t.co/OWgipBVxUO and autism https://t.co/T0jsSituFC That might be reduced under administration of candida targeting lactic acid bacteria.

I don't think *all* autism symptoms are caused by yeast overgrowth. But my suspicion about autism in general is it's an immune system regulation issue impacting mitochonrial function - hence why we see high levels of dysbiosis. The candidia and SIBO seems more like a symptom.

I found out I was was only partially breast fed.https://t.co/ZhGXsT2w0f

I just found out that while I was breast fed for the first month of my life, my mom switched me over to Enfamil Soy formula. It turns out that the first DHA supplemented soy formula was released in 2002.Whelp. I guess I was lucky to have the colostrum?https://t.co/HhW15RswVu

"Roberts has preliminary evidence that the delays could be caused by inadequate insulation of white matter — the nerve fibers that transmit signals between cells" https://t.co/MsJpZp6FBs

Timing problems due to white brain matter associated neurological disorder, in my autistic child?https://t.co/B1HcOekf71

What do you mean, autism and demyelinating disorders may stem from the same microbial roots? https://t.co/pPrRbfYHxj
