i’m not safe yet. i’m finally paying attention. i’m deciding. i pay attention. i decide it’s a bit more safe. i relax a bit more. but i don’t let go of the mistrust now suddenly i trust the environment a lot more again.

i allowed myself to detect a threat, look around the environment, decide what was safe, and come back again i’m allowed to do this as many times as i need
