The bitter irony of not having mental health or ability to get my non-driver ID again impaired me. And now that I actually have the mental health and energy to jump thru those hoops, the hoops are now higher than ever.I'm not giving up this time tho.

We were able to submit the paperwork to finalize getting formally funded. Been challenging to figure out logistics as I don't have a bank yet. Turns out getting photo IDs is really hard if you don't have proof of where you live, and all the banks need them.

'REAL ID' act says to get a license with it, you have to meet minimum ID standards. Getting ID last time was in 2012 and was not 'REAL ID', but this time it was? Used same stuff to ID myself. If anything it was worse this time. I didn't ask for it. https://t.co/ZtU3N66wRL

First problem I ran into is Paypal doesn't accept a Google Voice number to verify who I am, so it looks like I have to wait until I can get a real bank to use an exchange.But hey, at least that is possible now.

I can't buy things because when my bank sends a verification message to my phone, it is some automated tool that doesn't wait for me to pick up so the verification code is incomplete. Email codes don't seem to work.What good is a bank account if you can't use it to buy things?

Amazon account unlocked after I sent in my bank statement to prove it was my card. Tried again. This time the transaction went thru just fine with the verification. A few minutes later Visa canceled my transaction anyway?This is fucking bullshit.

Found out that if I order things on different days to get around the debit card's daily limit (bank is too far away right now to go in person to increase it)... Amazon ends up batching the orders up together all on the same day and hits the card limit anyway.But one went thru!

Technically I was able to make a purchase. Got 2 sets of ram for machine learning laptops we ordered. The laptops themselves seem to be the hard part cuz of how expensive they are. Buying them at the same time seems to be what is causing the issue.

Figured out we would have better luck getting external GPU bays and doing this https://t.co/Ui4vx2SiQM with them. We can use the internal 3080s until the larger GPUs are affordable.Frustrated at how hard it is to just buy two laptops :(
