@eigenrobot My apartment [albania] has a freezer and a dishwasher, but I have never once used the dishwasher. I should… probably open that thing and make sure there’s not like, a spider civilization in there.

@eigenrobot (Also, fwiw my QoL is pretty immensely improved by having a 2-bedroom apartment with mountain view in the heart of a walkable downtown, 12 minutes away from a large park where I can get lost in the trees, all for the same price I paid for a cramped midwest attic in college, )

@eigenrobot The Koreans I knew were pretty lighthearted about the fan death thing, but when I was in Ukraine they were really hardcore about not having a draft while sleeping. To their credit, I did get an eye infection on a train when I left the window open overnight 🤔🤔
