i have more than one friend triggered by the what they see as the flatness of her thoughts that it’s shallower, far less nuanced than their thinking but that doesn’t matter when it comes to changing many people you use the language & complexity they are already infused with
it is a skill to be able to use what is already dominant it might not be a deliberate skill. it might be an accidental one, borne of being someone *discovering these things at roughly the same pace as popular culture*

@AskYatharth “triggered by flatness of thought” is likely misdirection it’s not X that bothers people, but that the success of X violates their beliefs/assumptions about how things should be, which is what causes distress
