haven't watched wwe in a long time but its really cool to see brock lesner's new vibe/aesthetic, he's aged very well. yes its all theatrics but there's something here, he used to have this anxious energy... 20 years ago (holy shit) and it's lovely to see that it seems to be gone https://t.co/fBIMmAbbu5

i believe that recognize this look very well bc when i was younger i had to live amongst men like this – powerful yes but also haunted, terrified. he grew up on a farm... vibe of a nervous jock who knows people make fun of him, only has one move: displays of power/anger https://t.co/dA3RmILRUA

but look at him now! he has life experience, he's been around, he knows what he's worth, he can laugh at himself, he can enjoy himself and have a good time. there's some tension that's melted away. my gut trusts him a lot more now, i dont worry as much that he'd blow up https://t.co/7DJAawf5PA

and if i had to continue armchair-theorizing, it's that he left the WWE before returning. it's leaving one context to experience another. crossing the threshold, leaving the village, experiencing a new reality. once you've had this experience you realize how contextual everything https://t.co/6hFbd31cgx

some people will say "oh it's just age" but that's not always how it works, some folks get more and more anxious, more angry, and they turn into bitter hateful old men. there's no guarantee that age will mellow you, it can also let your demons fester and eat u out from inside

he's prob also a better lover now 👀 and i mean in the broadest sense really- love for life, ability to sit back and chill and have a beer with some buddies and really be present rather than anxious. hell yea brock love this for u (or maybe im wrong abt everything ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)
