am also adapting the challenge to not literally need to be 1,000 words—they will be 100 short essays, in contrast to my longer form writing on my blog. some posts will be fewer than 1,000 words, some will be more than 1,000, it's all good

trying to let the content determine the length rather than an arbitrary word count (which made sense for Visa's project but not really for me)
