.@AnneSelke introduced me to this wonderful idea she calls “othership.” it’s like companionship, but the reverse it’s the joy of getting to be an “other” person, of having your own distinct thoughts and experiences, and being reminded of how much you like yourself

there’s a kind of naïve connection i strove for, a kind of complete merging of thoughts, and transparency that can still be beautiful, during circling, or dancing, or sex, or just knowing each other so well
