my job is really introducing in me a discipline of “not everything can get done” what is actually revenue-blocking? what is actually important in my life?

This broke down in high school. For the first time in my life—there was no end to work. Work was endless. Where do you find time for dessert when you know you are never ever going to finish your plate?

It fundamentally changed me I lived on this samsaric concept of “once I finish everything, I can enjoy” It taught me there was no “after” I *was* living This *was* life Work was play was rest was retirement; the ways I had been told to live were a lie https://t.co/VZ8tewRqTg

unlike university, i cannot “sprint” to finish an assignment and then be done with that the work stream is infinite this life cannot be sprinted-finished i have to learn to just be living among it

if you’re not used to feeling the ocean (feelings, your body, etc.), it can feel intolerable https://t.co/bZ2GsU5Otm

If I choose to continue the movies, it will be like choosing to watch them again. I approach it as something fresh, because nothing was left undone. Everything was left acceptably unfinished, unfinished like it always is. https://t.co/aAYyrLNpnR

Wherever it stopped, it’s still a whole world. Wherever you stop, is still a whole world. It’s escaping plot-based thinking. World-based thinking.

There are those who realised samsara was inexhaustible. Unfinishable. And so they stopped trying to finish it. When you stop trying to finish life, you start living among it. https://t.co/IxwmGmlaMx

As long as you are an open, living system, the amount of your shadow will never be zero.

(no, not even when you are close to dying) to be alive is to be undone to be alive is to make friends with this fact of being

lately my relationship with doing things has changed. when i am doing something & i want it to hurry or end, i notice it and ask myself what would i rather do? i have no concrete answer, i was just trying to not engage with the present moment & then i continue doing it.
