The meditation and self-therapy worlds were centered around Mind, but have gotten pretty good about folding in Body and Heart as well. They pretty much across the board still leave out Soul though.

And Soul is the thing that turns all that Body, Heart, and Mind work into more than a checklist to cross off. Soul—the imaginal—is the connective tissue that lets everything else communicate and bind together into something with drive, purpose, oomph, Eros. Something *alive*

And that something is *you.* The true you that isn’t just a checklist of mental habits to break and somatic tightness to loosen and emotional knots to undo. The you that is absolutely fucking *aflame* with your reason for being here. Soul is what brings that. Nothing else can.

@the_wilderless However I think that imaginal does not equal Soul. Imaginal can be a tool for the other three aspects as well. Soul is… bigger than that

@ssica3003 I see imaginal as a connective tissue that touches and interacts with everything else, nourishing and cross-communicating between them all (another reason it seems like such a tragedy it’s left out) But I do def see the imaginal as rooted in soul

@the_wilderless It's the liberal tradition not to go near it, because when you tell others what Soul is, you prevent them from finding theirs All you can do is help them figure out all the things It is not
