There’s a lot of things I like about Tirana. It’s walkable, clean, uncrowded, there’s nice views. But one of my favorites may be the fun public art; particularly the whimsical attitude toward street signs.

Like 2 days after the invasion, Tirana changed the whole area around the Russian Embassy: -changed the name of the road to “Free Ukraine Road” -put up Ukrainian flags -painted the curbs blue and yellow https://t.co/WQnmGUXxnd

Bus crashed across the “river” in Tirana a couple days ago, And it seems like the city has absolutely no idea what to do about it, so it may just be a permanent fixture now. Maybe turn it into art https://t.co/EdLqfi9EiT
