i used to be extremely based but also had v low openness and poor theory of mind and my social life suffered a lot from it then i switched to high openness and went all-in on neuroticism, absolutely fucked my brain but developed good social skills and theory of mind--

--now i'm reentering a based phase retvrning to "complexity is an illusion, everything can be broken down into simple parts" i expect both of these directions are too extreme, but at least this one feels stable and like *me* and i think results in my making better decisions
