how funny would it be if I wound up working in the personal growth/healing line of work 😂 growing up I used to feel emotions very intensely and was prone to existential thinking, even at 5. I dampened these as a survival strategy but have spent many years unravelling it https://t.co/pz9UQtxdid

the stuff you joke about (even ironically or whatever) has a way of shaping your reality so be careful and deliberate with that stuff. a lot of people out here fumbling their own bags by joking about outcomes they don’t want. you might as well joke about the outcomes you do want

I've learnt a tremendous amount in this time. it's a very deep and fascinating rabbit hole that never ceases to amaze. the vagus nerve anyone? incidentally I've been grappling with the idea of "meaning" and how to make sense of it, perhaps helping others heal would be rewarding

there's a hubris to wanting to heal others, and I don't currently have a desire to, or feel qualified to do so, but I have a (perhaps naive) belief that when you keep pursuing something, your repertoire grows and eventually, serendipitously, you end up giving it back to others.

so to even pose the thought is funny to me, hence the jokiness element of it, but there's also often some truth to most jokes 🤷‍♀️
