Shopping carts injure an estimate 66 children per day (in a 2014).Shifting over to autonomous shopping carts could reduce that by quite a bit. But I bet the first kid to be ran over by one will have everyone in an uproar.

We have child safety locks on our cars so the child doesn't jump out while we are moving. We also have child safety lockson our cars so the child can't get out while it's stopped.All the better to sacrifice them to the fires of hell inside of a metal solar powered furnace.
