idea π‘...basically 21st century barn-raising Business Prototype Launch Hackathon one person has a business idea, something that could have an initial offering with 1-2 days of work by a handful of people and... then we make it happen!

Announcing the first virtual barn-raising! Want to help get a business off the ground? π October 9th all day (9am-midnight pacific) Featuring a bookings platform by @Prigoose & @__drewface. I'm excited to have them be the first barn-raising, for a few reasons shared below ππ§΅

@AskYatharth I've also discerned from the process of talking about this idea that "hackathon" is the wrong metaphor. I love the "high-energy single-use team" vibes it evokes, but for too many people it conjures up one or more of: - just coders - competition - redbull + no sleep
