If placebo is oxytocin driven, then maybe the ulcers where healed because of impacts of trust and safety effects?https://t.co/oQdb56c0yz

ok, but that doesn't explain the pain removal effects.https://t.co/ykBttsnJoi

But it might have secondary impacts on a chemical that has been shown to reduce pain. https://t.co/uR96RCuM0s

And we also have account for chronic vs acute pain. With chronic pain being driven by immune system in some cases.https://t.co/1MjiGAsk2R

If I'm right about autism severity being driven by lipid signaling and immune function via impacts on oxytocin (via gut-brain pathway) and anandamide/serotonin production/signaling... I necessarily butt heads with placebo research.https://t.co/dRQCwc68qg

"Future studies should focus on how oxytocin might influence placebo effects, taken into account the role of sex, dose-dependent effects, and various expectation manipulations."https://t.co/puh42yBPnH

If placebo can be enhanced by 'trust' (wearing a lab coat), and MDMA seems to do weird things to trust and risk in a social enviroinment. https://t.co/YiHoAloPIz then does MDMA increase placebo effect? How would you test this WHILE accounting for placebo effects?

I keep finding dumb-ass shit, like this study on MDMA's impact on PTSD that is using Niacin as a placebo.https://t.co/z8QQOoYpmg

If niacin can induce NAD+, and SIRT1 is "NAD+-dependent deacetylase" is on a pathway direclty impacting serotonin and anxiety....https://t.co/CskztolTthWHY WOULD YOU USE THAT AS A PLACEBO FOR PTSD?

Another way oxytocin can impact pain is by affecting TRPV1 sensitivity.https://t.co/x00MGwHP8k
