@goblinodds okay i have at least one sensory thing which is that i can't stand the feeling of ties or even tight shirt collars around my neck, i've had that for as long as i can remember. and uh also i can't wear contacts because my eyes refuse to allow them in

@goblinodds A good observation that there's a lot of research directed at right now One big tell is that stimulants are great for ADHD, less effective for IA; another is emotional reactivity range (high in ADHD) Often comorbid with one another but not with one another's comorbid sets

@goblinodds From a genetics standpoint there is all sorts of weird overlaps. Shank2 is one of the more recient ones https://t.co/Sx1UbyLuubWhole space of ideas is a tangled hairball https://t.co/5UZzWGVG9IThe overlap is quite significant.

@goblinodds To the point where I essentially ignore there is a differences at the gut bacteria level.I find things like this https://t.co/XBh7nRNmN0 and find stuff like https://t.co/QGTAHMtIKn and https://t.co/nblHMNGQOiCan't really see how they're any different at this point.

@goblinodds Even many of the risk factors are the same, like how maternal diabetes is a risk for having children wiht adhd https://t.co/My4059Xu0Z and the reverse where adhd causes a risk of diabetes https://t.co/lDVO4i8cdMAnd well.. https://t.co/z4t5YRQpAT https://t.co/coeBfV2E0W

@goblinodds I could go on for ages showing overlaps With a significant number of them stemming from immune system issues.https://t.co/t7rxCAPeqohttps://t.co/oDFvraOFrJIt's absolutely fascinating.

@goblinodds I have a formal autism diagnosis and my little brother has ADHD+ODD. Watching him get meltdowns as his immune system gets fucked and start to have trouble understand social stuff / sensory processing troubles the past couple of years. Not fun.

@goblinodds Ok can someone please convince me that Autism isn't just early onset Alzheimer's?https://t.co/RP8h2fv3gB

@goblinodds Look, I don't make the rules.https://t.co/9nhono1c3G

Everything I say about Alzheimer's applies to autism."clioquinol, an antibiotic used to increase zinc absorption, on the mice displaying autistic behavior and found that they began behaving in a way almost identical to that of the unchanged mice" https://t.co/ZKLMp3kqiT

@goblinodds Also, my little brother's legs have been giving out. He's been describing it as losing balance, but as I dug in he specifically told me it was like his legs weren't responding to his will. I did not prompt for this response.It's demyelination.https://t.co/bHNuRggsqt

@goblinodds Nobody looks for this.https://t.co/E37PRiaS7p

I hope they do this on Alzheimer's and early stage relapsing-remitting Multiple Sclerosis patients to compare. I have a Kinect on my Wishlist specifically to track this kind of gait abnormality during my eventual hibernation experiment. https://t.co/vR4dXk7aUX

@goblinodds Why would a young child have a demylinating disorder? thats only something old people get....https://t.co/wbwLi5JkG0What could be going on here?https://t.co/drmkXQEKgUSure is a mystery.https://t.co/Q4KrW9pPO4

@goblinodds Wish we knew why.https://t.co/X3WotQQ1PuOh right, that mTORC1 pathway is why I ate dog shit.

@goblinodds "Altered insulation: Among people with autism, low myelin content in some brain regions (blue) is associated with more severe autism traits" https://t.co/LqHmvzhpOs

@goblinodds Sonic say: Gotta go fast (if you don't wanna walk in a way compensates for motor control issues that also in ADHD) https://t.co/sWr6YRdLOe

@fire__exit @ckhonson @The_Lagrangian @niftierideology Perhaps particularly relevant to people like me (Multiple Sclerosis) due to impacts of mitochondria on white-matter in the brain.but also shows up in schizophrenia https://t.co/jmxHkGmTtr and adhd/autism https://t.co/Sk56RxkvPZhttps://t.co/kwI0vKljsJ

@goblinodds This was published in may 2022.https://t.co/4Z36EVYJSb

@goblinodds I ate dog shit to treat mTORC1 problems tied to myelin and neurogenisis in January 2022, planning for over a year.Sonic hedgehog signaling pathway makes me laugh.https://t.co/mlUZfIMgJ7

Premature infants have much higher risk of developing autism.https://t.co/0ZWR0CNbWMPremature infants have distinct changes in gut microbiota.https://t.co/0t70LUAE2uPremature infants have distinct changes in cerebellumhttps://t.co/91WWqi1Hs2What could be going on here?🤪 https://t.co/ycz068ERQr

@goblinodds Making jokes about research that doesn't exist yet.https://t.co/z2ZuwN5KCb

@goblinodds Hoping people will get a clue.https://t.co/Js7iCq5NXH

@goblinodds Whispering to my self "You're too slow" over and over.https://t.co/ZUnjtxrtag
