There’s 100% complicated neurochemical answers going on, and I also want to hear them. There also feels something very general about . . . the body is the mind.

To have neck pain in your body is to also have neck pain in the mind. It’s a competing demand for attention, that makes us tighten the shape of our awareness to exclude, and end up excluding a lot else. https://t.co/n8gqgIZf5Z https://t.co/ljTDIVAKlP

Clarity is what happens when our subconscious can fully read its head in awareness rather than us ducking, staying busy, to keep out the attentional demands of persistent, unmet needs.

What puts it in the same category as something like posting thirst traps and getting attention? It’s a kind of brain discomfort/expectation error, around wanting/needing more of something to feel ok, like hunger (skin hunger? attention hunger?). An itch. https://t.co/5kavBFL7tg

Resolving it thrusts one into emptiness again. From which a more spacious form arises.

@Malcolm_Ocean 😳 This . . . is an unreasonably powerful explanation. I could imagine using it to also explain - why colours feel brighter after playing the Wrong Thing improv game - etc. Any time perceptual experience is altered into a state of emptiness, vibrancy, and clarity.
