that's still my north star, but i noticed recently i also have other people in mind, regular listeners who i know really enjoy my podcast. similar interests, questions, curiosities. off the top of my head, @secretpathing, @joespurpleshirt and @taalumot
having people who I know like my podcast is really validating and encouraging. and when I have questions about who I should have on, or what questions to ask, I turn to these people. so appreciate them sharing their perspectives
i want my own tastes, questions, interests, judgments to be the first and final arbiter of who i have on, what questions i ask, how the conversations go - i have to be authentic to myself - but it really helps to have like-minded friends and supporters who can bounce ideas off
i also have specific guests in mind - past or future guests that I know I want to have on multiple times if/when I can. long term i think when i have multiple recorded conversations with the same people, we'll go in the most interesting and valuable directions together
