For agreeable people to become disagreaable is scary. It’s like becoming the leader of their own life. Instead of abandoning it to other people. You’re leading now, and leading comes with not knowing what the fuck you are doing, and knowing it.

no kid needs to be shown how to play. no kid, when they approach a toy, approaches wondering how to do it “right” and when they do, it’s a bit curious what they internalised it’s not okay
