the hard work of just experiencing https://t.co/EGcHmFsemb

we hunger around for more & more insight more guidance, more peak experiences forgetting that maybe all that’s needed is to experience the thing we seek insight instead of experience we seek the smart way there instead of . . . just doing https://t.co/KyzMaWq8wd

Nerds live in a STEM world, where what counts is being smart. Once you’ve figured out how to do it smarly, it is done. It’s v diff from the real world, where stuff takes *time.* Where the actual *doing* of it that counts. It’s extraordinarily different. https://t.co/xr9BC8smrY

our mental model of what’s going on is wrong (maybe this is the insight you needed) maybe each insight does it two times easier to practice insight isn’t bad just know it is pointing in the direction of resolving the emotional blocks around just experiencing

others cannot experience for you this is an unfortunate truth around a powerful lama or realised one, maybe—just their presence can make you feel what you could’t have felt it can unlock what months of practice may have taken yet then too it is an experience just a quicker one

on why it can be so hard https://t.co/SmO85sKpIl
