Cool, a platform middleman that takes all the aggressive tracking norms of massive platforms like amazon, and bringing them to the masses. Sure need more of this in the world.Democratize commerce today! https://t.co/ixYGpWmEls

So predictable.https://t.co/Cw80Q9PkyO

“I was shocked to see how predictable people are. If you take the time of day into account. If you take—maybe when they were last on the site, how long they were on the site last time, on the site today—You know what they're falling for."https://t.co/cMnrkJrWeT

I wonder who's going to buy them out.https://t.co/CMerly2Zct

I bet what we'll see is Amazon buys them up as an aquihire after bolt's brand gets established thru massive VC funded advertisement campaign targeting sellers.https://t.co/b0d1Hu0hhx

"Democratize Commerce" is code word for "we sell a saas product targeting a double sided market, aiming to hit growth metrics in hopes of getting noticed by one of the larger platforms".https://t.co/YPcyrVCIv2

Addiction mechanics as a service. Keep your customers hooked thru our fun customer experience (gamification) and user tracking algorithms (surveillance). We totally wont use this information to hold customers hostage via look-a-like matching. Trust us.https://t.co/V1TC0lvt30

Addiction as a service.https://t.co/7azR4izEZ9

Bolt is just trying to peel away the market from Amazon wallet / Google wallet / Apple wallet under a hybrid white glove + self service platform with integrated analytics and CMS.It's basically a streamline @Odoo as a cloud service.

Are they going ot keep growing? Absolutely. Is there a risk in having your entire business rely on an analytics platform that may decide to 'upsell' you features on the side under the vein of offering a 'marketplace', but is really playing you against your rivals? Absolutely.

All it'll take is a bunch of nervous investors looking for ROI to have entire platform's dynamics shift into one where they begin rent seeking against their captured market.Might be a great way to get started, but be sure to channel some of your income toward exit strategies.

I think a lot about the nature of Fiduciary Duty and how that ends up corrupting the financial incentives of corporations if the tide shifts against them.https://t.co/lTTNiUSBL1

How do we engineer a world where long term incentives are the norm? One that doesn't have a risk of treating the customer as a resource to game (and extract from), and instead one that is framed as a long term partner?https://t.co/HASpTBcP9y

Tired: contractsWired: Binding spellsInspired: Accidentally cursing yourself and selling your soul to misaligned incentives.https://t.co/DrtiV1JzPE

My, what great click-flow instrumentation you have! All the better to track-and-target the users with, my dear.https://t.co/M5CXNl0uMT

Would be shame.https://t.co/GrXpZVU6IYhttps://t.co/5hSdyqbX3a
