everyone gets āstuckā when they are 1. unwilling or unable to define the problem 2. unwilling or unable to solicit the right feedback 3. unwilling or unable to integrate it itās recursive all the way through, all the way up and down thatās āallā there is to anything https://t.co/tmy8XP7HBk

my brainās bullshitter hadnāt loaded yet to build up a resistance against the simplicity of idea, ie there was a tiny window of opportunity in which I could integrate the feedback https://t.co/khgV4V90Z9

Andy Grove tried to tell us this but even as I wrote it down I donāt think I was really listening and I donāt think I really believed it or so how deeply, deeply true this is https://t.co/fqLTrMP0oU

"When a person is not doing his job, there can only be two reasons for it. The person either can't do it or won't do it; he is either not capable or not motivated. [...] All you can do to improve the output of an employee is to motivate and train. There is nothing else."

interesting that this is at least the second time I woke up with this perspective; suggests to me that it gets lost/degraded when mingling with other people and inheriting/integrating their perspectives https://t.co/vfPc6KtdSk

anybody* can get to an audience of tens of thousands you just have to be thoughtful, persistent, prolific for 10+ years. ask questions and answer them. define problems and solve them. solicit feedback and integrate it. that's all there is to anything
