There is an inexhaustible amount to learn about magic, about your psyche. If you consider it the One Truth, you will be devoured by what was meant to free you.

The longer you go, the more you forget there ever was a life and reasons outside it. The more your social network, progression ladders, motivational systems are different.

Like video games, we latch onto whatever progression ladder we’re in. https://t.co/xHAi6Xwo9H

The longer you go, the further you get from a clear sense of any motivation otherwise. It all feels so vague now. There’s not a felt sense of clarity.

ā€œWhen you get the message, hang up the phone.ā€ Alan Watts’ quote goes a bit deeper than that. He’s talking about how the instrument of psychedelics becomes the object of fascination, people don’t feel enough, don’t go back and use it. https://t.co/OQBZycJ9hD https://t.co/UewedlXuhm

People ask as many spiritual questions as they feel the need to ask. When they’re satisfied with the answers, they stop and don’t go further Some poor nerds get stuck never feeling complete Some people are trying to escape the rest of their bleak life (That’s actually fine too) https://t.co/azkPLrLvQ4

I haven’t hung up the phone myself. I made a home here. I wanted to figure this thing out.

Hanging up the phone felt coercive to me. Like people were screaming, ā€œYATHARTHHHH< HANG UP THE PHONE, YOU SHOULD HAVE ENOUGH ANSWERS BY NOW.ā€ Whatever. I wanted to figure this out.

I really dislike people so concerned with birth rates and contributing to economic productivity it feels like they’ve lost a sense of humanity and good humour about the emptiness of it all.

All that matter, and also—holding on to beliefs with so much tightness bleeds the world. https://t.co/nzfngQpARy

It’s like money. Money is never enough; every time you make more, you glimpse what can be done with more. Spirituality is the same way. There’s new ways of being, then you glimpse even other ways of beings. It’s easy to let runaway human motivation engine devour you. https://t.co/QcU0YSjCl9
