@Its_Katka my advice to both guys and gals in the early stages of courtship is not to ask "do you like me", but "would you like to do X", where X is a thing that someone would only do if they like you. you could even say "would you like to go on a romantic date"
"would you like to go on a romantic date, but like, as friends. mostly. sort of." is one of the funniest and most exciting moves you can make, because then you're sort of on edge the whole date. it might end in a polite handshake or making out and you'll be happy either way
