So... I need to learn how our body maintains sodium+potassium. (this may explain my weird leg cramps despite high potassium)Potassium is part of sodium-potassium ATPase pump and is vital for the way our body manages energy.Wild: if there are gut microbes that fuck with it.

Those TRP receptors I talk about so much?Ion Channels! "The transient receptor potential family of ion channels"https://t.co/v4ZlzxxTIEhttps://t.co/bBy4EAg81e

My Crohn's disease symptoms causes me to shit out all my sodium. So I constantly need to replenish my bile salts. This absorption process failing also means I struggle to absorb other electrolytes. Like Calcium, Magnesium, & Potassium.https://t.co/X00sK7nrtp

First day on the job and I managed to connect a chain of thinking about autism that spans the immune system (T Cells, B Cells, NK cells) down thru a series of associations that ended up on the Potassium ala ion channel theory. https://t.co/iY9U9Mf0WX https://t.co/kjyTBx0RTg

I think about all the animals we've ritually sacrificed. Those that helped me to understand what was causing my meltdowns.Thank you, poor kitty. 😿https://t.co/ZgJUEcPCd7

@The_Lagrangian The worst I saw was when we were discovering about myelin sheeths on nerves and electrical signaling in c-tactile fibers. They were cutting out nerves in a cats ass and measuring the sound it made in their brain when you poke it. :/

I see this stuff too.Children being abused and overmedicated with downers and things to make them docile. Fetishizing gene therapy and chasing 'cures'.https://t.co/cN2YIfINGA

"tool for independence" is code word for "we market this to parents who are obsessed with having their children not be seen as autistic, because they have built up trauma from their own lives that they haven't processed yet, and don't realize how this hurts the child." https://t.co/qjRIPmaAsD

One of the things I found that reverses my meltdowns is literally used to torture people.https://t.co/MXEvBfX8q3Parents actively use TRPV1 activation this to abuse children as a punishment. It's monstrous.https://t.co/585txW04MWI hate it.https://t.co/vcMTyeFiZW

Every time I find something that might help my autism associated issues, I go thru a mental process that involves thinking about how parents & doctors will ignorantly force it on children (often in frustration) & how child won't be able to ask for help.https://t.co/sjOa0Rwc5M
